About Learning with DCLC

Delaware County Literacy Council (DCLC) provides free literacy instruction to adults. Adults may learn in a classroom, in a small group, or one-on-one with a tutor. Instruction sessions are held at DCLC’s building in Chester as well as in libraries, churches, and public buildings throughout the county. All services are free, and individualized attention is emphasized. To learn about a specific area of instruction, click on one of the links below.

Interested adults must register in person during New Student Intake at Delaware County Literacy Council, 2217 Providence Avenue, Chester PA 19013. Please call 610.876.4811 to learn the dates of the next New Student Intake. NOTE: Online learning is currently being offered. Register here.
